Thomas is the technical founder of Align™, bringing over a decade of staff-level engineering experience across distributed systems, developer tooling, infrastructure engineering, and AI-driven platforms. He's architected and shipped SDLC infrastructure at scale: CI/CD systems, observability pipelines, distributed test frameworks, and developer productivity tools for high-velocity organizations shipping mission-critical software.

Throughout his career, he saw the same architectural failure sabotage engineering organizations: teams made critical technical decisions across their entire toolchain, but the rationale behind those decisions was never structured, never linked to outcomes, and never survived system evolution. Architecture drifted. Systems degraded. Engineers rebuilt what already existed because intent was lost. No tool in the stack connected the "why" to the "what."

This became the foundation of Align™: a decision layer that captures engineering intent at the moment decisions are made, structures it semantically, and links it directly to issues, commits, deployments, and production behavior. Thomas brings deep expertise in building developer tools, platform engineering, systems architecture, and a track record of solving infrastructure problems that compound across engineering organizations.
